B&W ASW 608 Subwoofer In Black Ash,

If you are a serious music lover then this sub is for you. Most main speakers only go low to about 50Hz. To get a deeper bass in order to feel the music, you need a good sub to enhance the main speakers. I personally prefer the closed box design, as it provides tighter bass response, and that is why I bought this sub. It goes deep to 27Hz (at -3dB) as from the real test at

This sub belongs to the 600 series, and is made by B&W, one of the most respected speaker manufacturer. It has been carefully kept in a pet-free smoke-free home. I mainly use for music so never turn the volume more than half.
It has many controls (line input volume, low-pass filter input / high pass filter output, cross-over, equalization options, phase control, and on/off/auto mode see photos) which can suit a number of listening requirements.
It uses the energy efficient Class D amplifier, which gives it massive 200W output whilst keeping the amplifier cool (that is why you see a smooth rear panel).
It is also very cute and does not occupy much space, unlike some other monster subs do. So it is suitable to small to medium rooms.
The only reason that I sell this sub is that I have found another sub in gloss-black which matches better with my main speakers.
Bought it about a year ago at West Coast Hi-fi Cannington for $900, and it is still in brand-new condition. It comes with original box, manuals, spikes/rubber feet for both carpet or hard flooring. I will give a free 1m subwoofer cable to the buyer.
